About The Author

Alex's love for Golden Retrievers deeply influenced the creation of this children's book. Having owned two Golden Retrievers, Alex has witnessed firsthand their loyalty, intelligence, and affectionate nature. He saw how these characteristics could serve as the foundation for a series of chapters on themes such as loyalty, happiness, play, trust, or responsibility.

This book features a unique narrative voice, told from the perspective of a wise 4 year old female Golden Retriever named Joy, who shares valuable life lessons to young readers. The book, is composed of 26 chapters, is structured in a way that allows parents to select the most relevant life lessons to read to their children, fostering meaningful connections during bedtime reading.

As a devoted parent, Alex spent countless evenings reading to his son, beginning when Kai was just four years old. Over the years, Alex expanded the scope of their bedtime stories, often changing plots and creating impromptu narratives to many popular published books to keep the stories fresh and engaging. This tradition of made-up impromptu storytelling inspired Alex to write his own children's book, which draws from the life lessons he imparted to Kai.

Alex's dream is to see this book translated into multiple languages, making it accessible to children worldwide. He hopes that his stories, filled with humor and profound lessons, will help children navigate life's challenges and grow into compassionate and kind adults.
